Christina Is Having A...

About a month after it was reported that she was expecting a child, it's been confirmed that Christina Aguilera is having a girl. And it was confirmed by Aguilera herself, so we know it's for real, for real. During a concert in Malaysia, Aguilera said, "It's fun, I'm having another little one. This is her first show, you guys are her first show." Aguilera's pregnancy was first reported back in February only days after she announced her engagement to fiance Matt Rutler. The baby girl will be the first child for Aguilera and Rutler. Aguilera also has a sex-year-old son, Max, with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

I've gotta say, a concert announcement is a pretty good way to go. It's much classier than selling the information to a magazine, yet you avoid all the stories claiming "sources" and "friends of the singer" exclusively revealed the news. Good job on this one, Xtina!

Following the announcement, Aguilera gave a shout out to her Malaysian fans — the ones who were the first to hear the exciting info, well aside from her fiancé and family, of course — on Instagram. She captioned the following photo, "Ain't no other fans... Thank you Malaysia for all the love & support! XoXtina."

This is not the first time Aguilera has shared personal information with her fans first. When Rutler proposed on Valentine's Day, Aguilera posted a picture of her engagement ring in front of a tropical background with the caption, "He asked, I said....." (Hint: She said "yes.")
