Jared Padalecki Will Soon Be A Dad Of Three

by Allyson Koerner

This co-leading man of Supernatural is adding another little one to his family of four. Jared and Genevieve Padalecki are expecting their third child, he announced on Live! with Kelly Monday. "When I started the show [Supernatural] I was 22 years old, I was a single guy kind of doing my thing. Now I'm 12 years older, father of two, about to be father of three in March," he dished (at the 2:05 mark in the video below). Genevieve was in the Live! with Kelly audience when the actor announced their exciting news and she seemed very happy about their impending addition. No word on whether they will welcome a girl or another boy, but the couple is already parents to two boys, Tom, 4, and Shepherd, 2.

Like his Supernatural co-star, Jensen Ackles will soon become a dad again, too. In August, he and his wife, Danneel Harris Ackles, revealed they are having twins, a boy and a girl, sometime later in 2016. They welcomed their first child, daughter Justice "JJ" Jay, 3, in June 2013.

Between Padalecki and Ackles, they will soon have a total of six kids. You know what that means? The Supernatural reboot that is bound to happen way into the future once the current CW hit series ends (hopefully not anytime soon) already has its cast.

Clearly, Ackles thinks that some type of revival revolving around hunters like Sam and Dean Winchester is very much a possibility. Alongside a photo of JJ and Tom he shared in July, Ackles wrote, "Happy Birthday @jaredpadalecki ... Don't worry about getting too old. We are already raising the next generation of hunters. Love ya, pal." See? He gets it.

Based on the photo, their firstborns aren't afraid to bust through a door hunting demons or whatever supernatural creature is waiting for them either. Also, you can tell by the way they are holding those flashlights that they are already professionals.

So, with three Padaleckis and three Ackles soon running around how can you not have a Supernatural reboot? What better way to follow in their dads' footsteps, not to mention carry on the Winchester family name? (Yes, they would most definitely play Winchesters, because they are the only hunters who matter.)

Now all Supernatural fans have to do is wait for these six kiddos grow up, score their own show, have the reboot written, and finally start filming. It's going to be a long wait, but totally worth it.
