Kendall Deals With A Scary Problem On 'KUWTK'
It's hard to remember that Kendall Jenner is a mere mortal (especially if you follow her beyond gorgeous Instagram), but she is, and she deals with problems just like the rest of us — even really scary ones that have to do with her health. On this week's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kendall admitted she struggles with sleep paralysis, and it was a solid reminder of how hard it must be to live by her insanely busy schedule. Kendall is a really, really hard worker, and the new episode just served as proof that this girl needs a vacation.
Although Kendall has been open about her anxiety in the past, this is a pretty new problem for her. And the way that Kendall explained her experiences made it clear that it has to be terrifying. According to Kendall, she wakes up in the middle of the night and can't move because her body is still asleep even though her mind is not — and this is something that mainly happens on planes when she's traveling. Obviously, something like that has clearly made her even more anxious about flying... and that's not good, since it's a huge requirement of her job.
So what makes it so bad for her right now? Paris, Milan, and London are next on her schedule, and the jobs are booked, and Kendall's convinced she can't travel that much because she's afraid to fall asleep. Um, yeah, I would be too! I'm not crazy about flying, so I can't imagine how much worse I'd feel getting on a plane if I had to worry about sleep paralysis, too. And according to Kris, it's gotten so bad that she's had to fly out to London to get Kendall back on a plane to New York.
She tried to get help when a therapist came over to help her deal with her feelings before her trip to France, but Kendall wasn't down with her suggestion to induce a panic attack to figure out how to cope with it. Fortunately, this is where Kim comes in. If Kendall didn't want to work with a pro, her big sister wanted to take a stab at it, and it seemed like she really got through to her by helping her learn to meditate.
Kendall's job is obviously awesome, and it sucks that she can't fully enjoy the travel she gets to do because flying is so difficult for her. No one deserves to live that way!
