Kacey Musgraves Loves Her CMAs Dress

Kacey Musgraves hit the country music scene a few years ago and made waves with her brutally honest hit "Merry Go 'Round." In 2014, it was her giant, Texas hair that caught the world's attention. This year, it's Kacey Musgraves' CMAs outfit that is turning heads, especially since it turned out to be quite comfortable, according to the star.

Musgraves wore a very girly lavender tulle Christian Siriano gown to the 2016 CMAs, and it was quite elaborate. And by elaborate, I mean large. So big, in fact, that Musgraves even joked to People that she was wearing "sweatpants and Nike sliders" under her dress, which she feasibly could do, if she wanted to. I probably would have.

Musgraves paired her ornate tulle gown with a dramatic side part, slicked down into a sleek bun, a pair of dangling earrings and a very fall-appropriate dark purple lip. You can't see her shoes, but I would imagine she is wearing a very nice pair of heels under there. Or a pair of Nike sliders. She may not be joking. Especially since sliders are super trendy right now.

Love it or hate it, Musgraves' CMAs dress is bound to get people talking this year.

Musgaves' Christian Siriano gown for the 2016 CMAs was custom made by the designer. Siriano has been very proactive when it comes to dressing celebrities these days. Not only did he offer to make Musgraves' a one-of-a-kind gown, but earlier this year he stepped in to make Leslie Jones a gown for her Ghostbusters premiere, a task that many other designers turned down.

Siriano clearly has a knack for dressing popular celebs.

Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever truly know if Musgraves is actually wearing sweatpants under there. But at least we can all agree that she looked fabulous on top!
