Blogger Hapa Time Is Sharing Fall Fashion Advice

by Dale Arden Chong

When it comes to style advice, especially for new trends and new seasons, fashionistas can never get enough. Thankfully, there are plenty of sources for inspiration these days, and at the top of that list is Jessica Ricks of Hapa Time. Ricks is taking her tips and tricks to the Westfield Valley Fair Mall on Saturday, Oct. 29, and is teaming up with the company to help fans stay on trend and get out of a fashion rut.

If you're not familiar with Ricks, she is a San Francisco Bay Area fashion blogger whose website name derived from her hapa (a slang term for those who are half-Asian and half-White) heritage. After stumbling upon Chictopia in 2011, she was inspired to start her own fashion blog. Now, Ricks has 600K followers and posts gorgeous photos of her outfits on the daily.

The fashion guru will be dishing the latest in fall trend reports and will hold exclusive Q&A with MarieClaire.com fashion editor Chelsea Peng. Along with the latest information in fall fashion trends, there will also be a meet and greet, snacks, a beauty bar, and more.

Need more convincing on why you should attend? Here are five pieces of sartorial evidence proving Ricks is a total pro when it comes to street style.

1. Totally On Trend

2. Proportion Play

3. Layer Love

4. Casual Cool

5. Weekend Simplicity
