This former star of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette has some exciting news. As Us Weekly reported Thursday, Desiree Hartsock welcomed a baby boy named Asher Wrigley Siegfried on Wednesday, Oct. 19 with her husband Chris Siegfried. Based on the statement released by the reality star's rep, she and her husband are absolutely in love with parenthood. "Words can't even express the amount of love we feel for our baby boy Asher," the statement released to Us reads. "He has already brought so much joy into our lives in one day. He's strong, healthy, happy, playful and warm. Chris and I are beyond blessed with this beautiful gift of life that we are excited to have as a part our family."
In April, Hartsock announced she was pregnant with her first child. Then, in August, she revealed they were having a boy. Hartsock and Siegfried, who met on her season of The Bachelorette and got married in 2015, also shared a photo on Instagram of their baby. They've yet to reveal Asher's face, but the following photo does show his sweet little hand wrapped around Hartsock's finger.
Alongside the photo, Hartsock wrote a caption with some loving words that truly express how happy she is to be a mom and Siegfried is to be a dad. "He already has us wrapped around his precious little fingers! We are overjoyed to welcome the newest addition to our family, Asher Wrigley Siegfried. Born yesterday, (10/19) happy, healthy and strong." Technically, he's wrapped around her finger because his hands or so small, but the sentiment is still there!
What a seriously sweet photo. Clearly, Hartsock and Siegfried are meant to be parents. Congrats to both on the birth of their baby boy.
