'AHS: Roanoke' Is Nearing Its End

by Martha Sorren

Although it feels like it just got started, American Horror Story: Roanoke is reaching its finale very quickly. The episode order for AHS Season 6 is just 10, according to Vanity Fair, compared to the usual 12-13 in past seasons. That means that there are just four more episodes until the series comes to an end on Nov. 16. That doesn't seem like a lot considering the real story just got started.

After six episodes, My Roanoke Nightmare, the docuseries about Matt and Shelby, drew to a close, making room for Sidney to produce his next big hit, Return To Roanoke: Three Days In Hell (what a title). The reality series centers on all the subjects of the docuseries (real people and actors alike) as they are locked in the haunted house and filmed 24/7. How any of them agreed to this I will literally never know. But, I do know that Murphy isn't messing around, and informed viewers that all but one of the characters would die over the three days the show was filmed. He already killed off Evan Peters so he's here to play, and he's gonna take your faves with him.

It's sad to know that in the next four episodes nearly every character is going to die and that, then, the show will be over for many months. But, there's no denying that this has been an exciting season filled with mystery, and I have no doubts that Murphy will continue to shock and delight fans right up until the very end — even if that end comes a lot sooner than fans might like.
