Beyonce Wore A Beaded Dress & Slayed All Of Us
Beyoncé Knowles attended TIDAL’s Second Annual Philanthropic Festival on Oct. 15, and her look was incredible. In fact, Beyoncé’s beaded dress, which features sheer fabric and beads on top of more beads, will likely go down in fashion history — and let's face it, so will the rest of her red carpet attire.
From the gorgeous design to the very strategic placement of the aforementioned beads, Beyoncé’s dress is, quite literally, a sheer masterpiece. But then again, would you expect anything less?
Due to the massive amounts of beading on the dress, Bey’s look didn’t need much accessorizing. But that didn’t stop her from adding arms full of bangles and multiple hoop-like ear cuffs to the mix. To further finish off her look, Bey brushed her lids with metallic eyeshadow and wore her hair in an extra long braid high on her head.
While a completely beaded dress seems likely to have a wardrobe malfunction (and also looks insanely heavy) nothing seemed to go wrong on the carpet. In fact, it wasn’t until Beyoncé changed for a performance later that night that she encountered a wardrobe mishap. According to Vanity Fair, Beyoncé’s extra long braid got caught in her earring while performing “Haunted,” and sadly, it looks like it ripped right out. Nevertheless, Bey kept her cool and finished her performance, bloody ear and all.
