This May Be Kris Jenner's Way Of Commenting On Kim

by Jamie Primeau

It was only a matter of time before Kris Jenner weighed in on Kim Kardashian's recent robbery. For those keeping track, it's been a little over a week since Kardashian was reportedly robbed at gunpoint by two men posing as police officers. The reality star's rep confirmed that she was "badly shaken but physically unharmed." On Monday, Jenner posted an Instagram seemingly connected to Kardashian's incident. The momager emphasized just how grateful she is for her family. And in doing so, she made all the statement she needs. The 60-year-old shared an image that said,

Every morning is a reminder of how blessed we are.

Today I am grateful for my family, who I love more than words can explain.

Count your blessings, be grateful always, and cherish every moment you spend with your loved ones.

She threw the hashtags "#blessed #family #love #grateful" in the caption. While this isn't Jenner's first post since Kim K's attack in Paris, it's the first that appears to be related. The others are promotional posts about her daughters' latest projects. She also shared prayers for those affected by the hurricane in Haiti. This particular post (seen below) really is about appreciating her loved ones — the kind of message that appears when someone you care about goes through something traumatic, which makes it all the more likely that it's connected to Kardashian.

It should be noted that Jenner's lack of a direct comment is significant in itself. She's usually the first to spill the beans, whether about who her kids are dating or other family ongoings. Since she rarely shies away from speaking out, this may show just how serious the situation is. Plus, it proves where her priorities lie: making sure her family is OK, first and foremost.

As for the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner fam, the responses have ranged from direct to vague to non-existent. Caitlyn Jenner was the first to respond, sharing an image of Kardashian last Tuesday. She wrote, "Love my girl! After hearing the full story, I'm so thankful she's okay. It's a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world." Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian shared Bible verses about strength and joy. Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Rob Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian have not commented on the situation in any way. However, Khloé is scheduled to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, according to Entertainment Tonight, so it's entirely possible it may come up then.

In this case, Jenner didn't need to say anything directly about her daughter to make her feelings clear. She may be a manager, but her role as a mom comes first. She's "grateful" for her family — and that says more than any other public statement could.
