Exciting news for '90s kids everywhere: There's about to be a new member of the Spice Girls family. On Monday, Geri Halliwell announced her second pregnancy on Instagram. Her rep confirmed the news to People. While she's best known as Ginger Spice, she gave herself a new nickname in the process. The 44-year-old captioned the post, which featured an adorable little sketch of a pregnant woman, "God bless Mother Nature #mamaspice." Yes, say hello to Mama Spice! Obviously, it's a fitting name choice.
For the record, this will be Halliwell's second child. She has a 10-year-old daughter named Bluebell Madonna from her previous relationship with Sacha Gervasi, according to Us Weekly. However, this is her first child with husband Christian Horner — making it an all-the-more exciting milestone. The pair got married in May 2015 in Bedfordshire, England.
BTW, this baby news couldn't come at a better time, since fans are eagerly awaiting some sort of Spice Girls reunion. When the girl band celebrated the 20th anniversary of their song "Wannabe" in July, they hinted that a major reunion was on the way. Then, Mel B (aka Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice) confirmed the news in September. While Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) and Melanie Chisholm (Sport Spice) are sitting this one out, it's no reason to not be super pumped.
