Amanda Bynes Is Active on Twitter, Again

It's been a while since Amanda Bynes' very public breakdown last year, and, thankfully, it seems the the 27-year-old has slowly been making a comeback to the healthy, happy star she once was. We first learned from her Twitter earlier this month that she is attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising — great news, and a sure sign that she's doing better — and now Amanda Bynes has posted photos of herself at FIDM’s 2014 Debut Runway Show.

Bynes couldn’t look more flawless in the three photos, one featuring her standing alongside her parents, Rick Bynes and Lynn Organ, and another where she’s taking a selfie with her mother, who is grinning from ear to ear. The entire family appears to be having a splendid time at the event with their daughter, who is not only glowing, but is really beginning to remind us of the Amanda Please!/What I Like About You/Easy A star we all fell in love with.

These are also the first few pictures we’ve seen of her where she actually looks happy to be spending time with her family. Although she was pictured on a walk with her parents and family dog in their neighborhood after returning home from her hospital-mandated rehab, Bynes wasn’t all smiles yet. But hey, I probably wouldn’t be either if some creep paparazzo was stalking me right after rehab.

This is worth noting, though, because during her Twitter tirades pre-hospitalization, it was pretty clear that Bynes was not on good terms with her parents, as she not only refused to see them but constantly bashed them online. Case-in-point: Last year, she took it out on her own father tweeting, “My dad is as ugly as RuPaul! So thankful I look nothing like you both! I had nose surgery after my mug shots so my nose and I are gorgeous!” amongst other things. She even took to Twitter to accuse her parents of attempting to steal her money, claiming she’d rather them be homeless than live off her money. Her mother and her sister were both called out on Twitter as well, as Bynes tweeted that the both of them were "ugly."

Luckily, it seems that things are finally getting better for the family. Let’s hope that these positive tweets continue.
