On Oct. 6, these Mean Girls stars finally delivered the reunion fans have been waiting for. Lindsay Lohan and Jonathan Bennett reunited on Thursday and they shared it with the world. Lohan posted a screenshot on Instagram of the two former co-stars FaceTiming. Yes, it's as glorious as it sounds. The screenshot of them talking is extremely fuzzy, but also amazing at the same time. Either these two have stayed in touch, or they just wanted to celebrate Oct. 3, the day Mean Girls has made basically a national holiday.
Ever since Mean Girls' release, Oct. 3 has become a popular day. There's a scene in the movie where Cady Heron's (Lohan) crush, Aaron Samuels (Bennett), turns around in class and asks her what day it is. That day just happens to be Oct. 3 and from that moment on, Oct. 3 has never been seen the same way. It is no longer just another day of the week, but the day Mean Girls made famous.
Obviously, LiLo and Bennett are three days late in celebrating the special day, because... well, who knows why. It's unfortunate that they couldn't get together on Oct. 3, but I guess fans will take what they can get, right? Also, all of this just goes to prove that Aaron Samuels still has no idea what day it is. Really, he needs to get it together.
Despite not getting together or FaceTiming on the actual day, Bennett and Lohan may have just made Oct. 6 famous. It just may become the new Oct. 3. Just think, when the next Oct. 6 rolls around, Mean Girls fans will be like, "This is the day Lindsay and Jonathan reunited." Yeah, they knew exactly what they were doing.
