A 'Stranger Things' Cruise Is Happening

by Sabienna Bowman

It is no secret Stranger Things has hit phenomenon status. The little Netflix show that could has taken over the world's imagination in 2016 and now Eleven and her pals are set to take on the high seas too on a Stranger Things cruise. That's right, if you cannot get enough of Stranger Things, now you can go on a cruise with cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, and David Harbour and discuss all your Upside Down theories with a group of like-minded, Stranger Things junkies.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the special fan cruise will also host stars from Guardians of the Galaxy and The Walking Dead, as well as comic book legend Frank Miller. The cruise is the first Fan2Sea Cruise ever, and it will be every pop culture lover's dream vacation. Not only will cruise-goers be out on the open ocean with their favorite actors and a ship full of new friends, there will also be a ton of themed events to enjoy.

According to Hello Giggles, passengers will be treated to a Strangers Things Cocktail Party, a panel featuring discussions about the show, and an autograph session with the stars. Non-Stranger Things events include a Marvel movie marathon, trivia competitions, and a Dark Knight panel with Miller. With four geek-approved days of fun, this cruise is one you need to be on, especially if your fondest hope is to meet Eleven in person. The Fan2Sea cruise sets sail January 22, 2017. For more information, and to pick up your tickets, head over to the cruise's official website.

Stranger Things Season 2 is not set to hit Netflix until 2017, and that is way too long to wait for more Upside Down action. The Fan2Sea cruise offers the perfect way to escape into the world of Hawkins, while also giving you an amazing excuse to take a vacation in January. Go ahead and book your tickets now and don't forget to pack some Eggos — just kidding, there's no way they would invite Eleven on a cruise and not serve Eggos.
