Kim K’s Friend Was Reportedly There During Robbery

Kim Kardashian is home safely in New York as details about the Paris robbery continue to emerge. Although it originally appeared that she was alone in her apartment at the time of the break-in, a new report from Us Weekly claims that Kardiashian's friend was in the Paris apartment during the robbery. Simone Harouche, who the outlet reports is a stylist and close friend of the reality star, was reportedly asleep in the apartment at the time of the break-in. She reportedly called Kardashian's bodyguard Pascal Duvier after hearing noises inside the residence. Kardashian's rep had no comment in response to Bustle's request for comment on this report.

According to Teen Vogue, Harouche locked herself in a downstairs bathroom and unsuccessfully tried to call an emergency number before contacting Duvier and Kourtney Kardashian. Kourtney was at a nightclub in Paris with Kendall Jenner at the time of the incident and both of them rushed to their sister's side upon hearing about the incident. Before they arrived, Kardashian had freed herself and run downstairs to Harouche. According to E!, she reportedly urged her friend to jump off the balcony to safety, but, luckily, security and police arrived. Reportedly, after providing statements, Harouche flew to Los Angeles and Kardashian reunited with Kanye West in New York City on Monday, Oct. 3.
