If you've yet to hear the rumors, TMZ reported Tuesday that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have broken up. Apparently, their alleged split went down before that Kylie Jenner phone number incident. Bustle has reached out to both Kardashian and Chyna's reps for comment regarding their rumored breakup, but we have yet to receive a response. So, why did Kardashian and Chyna break up? Details surrounding their reported separation remain scarce and unconfirmed, but according to TMZ the two haven't spoken to one another for months and they "reunited for a dinner the night before their reality show [E!'s Rob & Chyna] premiered, but other than that ... they've been split."
Sources also spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the reported drama between them and said that there has been clear tension in their relationship recently. Apparently, Kardashian struggles over Chyna once being engaged to Tyga and the two having a son together. For those unaware, Tyga now dates Kardashian's sister Kylie Jenner. "The entire situation is so bizarre, and Rob has always been insecure about that," the source claimed. Who knows if that influenced their alleged breakup, but the insider did say that Chyna has no plans to leave Kardashian. So, they may not have even really split.
According to a September report released by HollywoodLife.com, many of their friends have been waiting for Chyna and Kardashian to breakup sooner rather than later. Reportedly, a source said, "Rob is madly in love with Chyna, but it’s not a healthy love. It’s on the verge of being obsessed." These so-called "friends" of the couple also are afraid that they'll "never marry."
Like when Chyna and Kardashian "broke up" in March, there doesn't seem to be a clear reason or anything being released about it. When they reportedly ended their relationship in March, People reported that they were only "on a break," which could also be the case here. Though, after the March rumors circulated, Kardashian confirmed they were still together on Instagram. "Chy and I are not broken up we just feel like it would be a lot healthier for our relationship if we kept a lot more to ourselves," he shared in the now deleted post. "It's impossible to have a positive relationship with so much negativity from the media and outsiders and we would appreciate it if everyone respects that."
Until either of them speak out about the breakup rumors, shippers of Kardashian and Chyna will just have to have faith that the reports are false.
