Let's Figure Out ChyRo's Status

There really never is a dull moment in the world of the Kardashian family. Late Monday night, Rob Kardashian tweeted out Kylie Jenner's phone number, according to him, as revenge for not inviting Blac Chyna to a baby shower Jenner and her family was throwing him. But now it sounds like there could be more to the story. TMZ is reporting that Kardashian and Chyna broke up and haven't been speaking for months. This is said to be part of what lead to the phone number leaking situation, because the family, reportedly, wanted to throw separate baby showers for the couple and, reportedly, Chyna was on board with this. Wait, what? Did they actually break up? While TMZ sources claim it's true, signs the couple have put out there make the idea that they split months ago seem farfetched.

Bustle has reached out to reps for Chyna and Kardashian in regards to the report, but has not yet received a response.

TMZ reports that the Kardashian-Jenner sisters did plan separate baby showers for Kardashian and Chyna, but that it was because Kardashian and Chyna haven't been speaking for months. My first reaction is that "months" seems like an exaggeration. What about all those posts on Instagram? TMZ also reports that the two reunited for dinner the day before the premiere of their show, Rob & Chyna , but that besides that they haven't been together.

While this TMZ rumor would be pretty shocking if true for fans of the couple, their social media tells a different story of their relationship, and it looks like they've been together at least up until recently — or at least that they want it to appear that way.

Kardashian is a fan of purging his Instagram, which led to reports back in July that the couple was over. But soon after, a source told People that the couple had a huge argument but were still together. This seems to be a trend in their world, as E! News also previously reported that they broke up, only two months after they got together. Plus, their show has already demonstrated that they argue quite a bit, and one episode has already shown that they briefly stopped living together.

One thing I did notice on their social media in the past week or two, is that they've both mostly focused on sharing promos for their show and excitement for their baby, but not that many personal photos of them together. Could it be because they broke up a while ago and are trying to stay friends for their baby? And about that purging, Kardashian once again only has photos on his social media up to two weeks ago, so perhaps something big happened before that.

Something to take into account is that the Kardashian-Jenners really know how to work the headlines to their advantage, and there are still quite a few episodes left of Rob & Chyna, so if they wanted to hold out for a huge blowout finale where they decide to go their separate ways, they would figure out a way to keep the news undercover. Or they could just love the speculation and the couple is hanging out on the couch right now, cuddling and laughing at everyone.

The mystery of Kardashian and Chyna is still going strong, and there's a good chance no one will ever know what's truly happening, but they at least are both looking forward to the birth of their baby girl, and that's all that matters right now.
