New York Fashion Week 2016 has had some incredible moments so far, and that includes the debut of Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4. During New York Fashion Week, West took fans, press, and celebrities to an abandoned area of the city to showcase his latest line. Despite some criticism that has been launched about the show, there's little doubt that the style was unique and definitely in line with the Yeezy aesthetics. The one difference, though? The labels.
The Yeezy Season 4 labels for footwear are markedly different from those of Season 3. In a Snapchat on Wednesday, Kim Kardashian West showcased the new, clear shoes that have now become somewhat synonymous with the Yeezy brand. While at first it seemed as though she was showcasing a redesigned Season 4 shoe, it became apparent that it was a comparison between Season 3 and Season 4. The only difference did not have to do with the design, but the label itself.
In the Season 3 shoe, the label is somewhat embossed into the insole. In Season 4, however, the Yeezy Season 4 label is sewn into the insole and embroidered in what appears to be black thread making it stand out markedly more than the earlier version. While the shoe itself is clearly different, for those who love to show their support of their favorite celebrity, the new Yeezy Season 4 label is perfect.
The design of the shoe stays relatively similar between seasons with the addition of clear straps. However, the label is glaringly different.
Clearly, West wanted fans to know that they were rocking Yeezys whenever they looked into their closet. Really, though, can you blame him? The Yeezy line is easily one of West's largest projects.
If you were wanting to get your hands on a pair of Yeezys, you'll definitely know what's in your closet. Really, though, if you have Yeezys, isn't that what you want anyway?
