ColourPop's Fall Edit Won't Be Around For Long
Fall is approaching fast, which means a new makeup color scheme is coming. Thankfully, ColourPop Cosmetics is on top of it. You might have already seen their Fall Edit, but even more is coming. The Fall Edit 2, which highlights another cold-weather color, is on it's way. If you're wondering if ColourPop's Fall Edit collection is limited edition, the answer is in the name. Let me break it down for you.
You might have already noticed, but ColourPop's Fall Edits each stick to a one major color scheme. That's no coincidence, my friends. According to the company's Snapchat, the Fall Edit collection is based off of what shades are trending this season. The first six products are in the color plum, which are already available on the site. That's not the only color that's trending though. Terracotta Fall Edit will be added to the collection on Sept. 15.
OK, so the name of the collection might not be so obvious. Here's what Fall Edit really means. The title of the line is a way of telling us that it's about the top color schemes of the season — something the brand has never quite done before. According to ColourPop's Snapchat story, that means the Fall Edit collection will be limited edition. Bottom line: the plum and terracotta shades won't be around for long.
The shades in the plum color scheme are all completely gorgeous, in my opinion. The four lip colors and two shadows are dark and vampy, but perfect for fall. The second color scheme is for all of you bold, bright lovers out there.
It honestly doesn't get much more gorgeous than this. The color scheme will consist of three lip colors, four eyeshadows, and a metallic blush all in the terracotta shade. They hit the online shop on Sept. 15 at 1pm ET.
Can we just talk about this blush shade for a second? I never thought I'd be into a metallic blush, but this color is stunning. It could easily be used as shadow as well.
Swatches of the plum shades are equally as gorgeous. The only downfall to the Fall Edit is deciding which products to add to your makeup bag. You can't go wrong with two on-point fall colors. Plus they're so affordable, that you can easily shop them all. I'm talking $5 to $6 dollars each.
Mark your calendars for Sept. 15, because something tells me that these gorgeous colors will sell out fast. Normally ColourPop is great with restocking their items, but with limited edition you just never know. You better stock up while you can!
