Kat Von D's New Hair Is Inspired By Her Lipstick

Just when you thought this tattooer couldn't get any more dedicated to her makeup line, she does something major. I'm not talking about brand new ink either. Kat Von D dyed her hair bright red, and it looks pretty darn similar to one of her top liquid lipstick shades. This could be the beginning of a beautiful beauty trend.

It's no secret that Kat Von D is pretty darn creative. In-between images of her her tattoo designs and sketches, the beauty creator showed off a picture of her brand new 'do. She posed in an upside-down selfie with bright red hair and a lip to match. From the looks of it, she got a pretty drastic chop as well. I had to do a double take at first glance to make sure it was her.

There's no telling whether this is her real hair or just a wig, but either way it's absolutely gorgeous. The color is awfully similar to Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II, which she wore on her lips in the Instagram shot. If matching your lipstick to your hair-color is the new trend, then you can count me in. You just have to see this monochromatic look for yourself.
