Blonde hair, don't care. Kylie Jenner is officially a blonde. And this time, it's not a wig. The youngest of Kris Jenner's daughters also appears to have taken inspo from her eldest sister with her new, platinum blonde 'do, as well. Jenner, who has been blonde before, spent her Labor Day weekend making a major change to her constantly evolving locks. She documented the "going blonde" process on her Snapchat, using a variety of filters and faces while her usually black locks soaked up the bleach. Jenner changes her hair length often and it's usually with the assistance of wigs. She has also rocked blonde, blue, and green hair in the past, and those shades were also courtesy of a wig assist. That makes sense, since all that double processing would destroy her actual strands. This time, she's legit blonde. Is it for a new Kylie Cosmetics campaign? A mag cover? A move to suit her mood? It could be anything.
The reason it appears that her big sis Kourtney Kardashian, as opposed to the more recently blonde Kim Kardashian, was the source of inspo is the fact that Jenner posted a "vintage" photo of Kourt with shoulder-skimming, bright blonde hair on Instagram last week. She captioned it "VIBES." So the logical conclusion is that Kourt's '90s blonde look inspired Jenner to swap out her natural shade.
Whoa, right? I am not used to seeing Kourtney Kardashian as a blonde. She has always slayed her long, straight, black strands. Kim K. often goes blonde and Khloe Kardashian has spent much of 2015 and 2016 with blonde locks. But they don't seem to be the source material here.
Now, let's follow Jenner on her journey to blonde.
Going from pitch black to bleach blonde is certainly a process, so no wonder it took all day.
