The only two people to have a more contentious history than Josh Murray and Nick Viall are Nick Viall and Andi Dorfman, the former Bachelorette. Nick came in second on her season, but things didn't end when she sent him home roseless. No, he later revealed the intimate details of their Fantasy Suite romp while on live television on After The Final Rose. It was soooo awkward between them after that and for while (never forget her rant when Nick was on Kaitlyn's season), but how is she feeling about him now? Andi thinks Nick is deserving of being The Bachelor.
On Wednesday, the former Bachelorette took to Twitter to post a lengthy statement of support for her former flame. "Congrats, Nick. It's been a long road but you've always been genuine and real about wanting to find love. Now it's your turn! Best of luck," she said, adding a rose emoji at the end of the tweet.
She's not the only one of Nick's exes to support his new role. Kaitlyn is also happy that he's getting his shot at love. "Everyone deserves to find their person and we want to wish Nick the best of luck," she says in a statement to Bustle, presumably also speaking on behalf of her fiancé Shawn Booth, whom Nick came in second to on Kaitlyn's season.
As Andi said, it has certainly been a long road for Nick and herself, just as it has been Nick himself in the franchise. He's bounced from Bachelorette to Bachelorette to Bachelor in Paradise, and now he'll be gracing our screens in January as the Bachelor.
And, with the support of both his famous exes, hopefully he'll be able to find someone who will actually accept his proposal this time.
