New Lip Kits are coming. Can I get "Yay!" for the Friday, Aug. 26 arrival of the Brown Sugar, Dirty Peach, and Love Bite Lip Kits, the three latest mega matte editions to the Kylie Cosmetics family of products? Brown Sug and D. Peach are sultry, head-turning shades in the neutral family, but they have unique tones and depths that separate them from the other nudes in the KLK collection. But Love Bite stands out, since it's such a hard-to-describe shade. It's purple and it's dark, but it's not gothy, like the deep purple Kourt K Lip Kit. It's certainly dramatic, but it's suitable for wear during the daytime and at the office. If you add a few extra swipes or coats, it will work for nighttime. It's unique in its versatility, that's for sure. But what color is the Love Bite Lip Kit, exactly?
It's a purple mauve, as described by Jenner herself. It's got a plummy tone, as well. It's semi-vampy, but not full on. If you want to ease into rocking vampy lips this fall, well, Love Bite is the shade with which you can test the waters. Plus, the name is super cool, too.

You can pair Love Bite with soft, brown smoky eyes and some bronzer, like Jenner did. Or you can leave the rest of your face bare and paint your pucker with Love Bite. You'll still look fashionable and sexy with a minimum of product.
Jenner and her squad rocked Love Bite, demonstrating how it looks with a variety of skin tones. On fair tones, it's darker and vampier. On darker skin tones, it's gorgeous, lush, and exotic.
Love Bite isn't as vamped out as Kourt K, but they are like sisters in the same color family.
I can't help but wonder if Jenner named the shade "Love Bite" after the Def Leppard song. Or perhaps she named it as such since it's a vamp-lite shade and vampires bite. Perhaps?
