They're new parents to adorable daughter Luna and they remain in sync (not 'NSync) on red carpets and at celeb events. Those are two outward signs of a healthy, admirable relationship. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend remain #RelationshipGoals, even though the duo skipped the 2016 VMAs, leaving us with a void in our red carpet watching for the evening.
The insanely good-looking duo didn't travel to NYC to take in the show. Instead, they stayed home. The twosome are notorious foodies and when a writer tweeted at Teigen to ask if they were skipping the VMAs in favor of chowing down on tacos and watching from the comfort of the couch, Teigen replied that they were not attending and eating Ramen.
Because why not?
Teigen, who recently shared pictures of her stretch marks on Snapchat, can always be counted on to speak her mind and share the truth on social media. What you see is what you get with her.
While I admit I would have loved seeing Teigen and Legend showing off their sexy and complimentary couple style at the 2016 VMAs, I can't say I blame them for sitting this one out in favor of food and nesting with their baby girl.
There's always next year for the VMAs.
