He's Going Back To Rosewood!
Well, I guess you can never really leave Rosewood. On Wednesday afternoon, Tyler Blackburn announced that he's returning to Pretty Little Liars following the cancellation of his spin-off series, Ravenswood . The actor, who played Caleb Rivers on both series, made the announcement that he'd on ABC Family's YouTube series Behind The Curtain. But as excited as we all are for the return of one of PLL's fan-favorite relationships "Haleb" — what about Hanna's new romance with Travis?
Blackburn told Behind The Curtain about his return to ABC Family's popular teen drama:
I've got some big news. I'm heading back to Rosewood and I will be back this summer on Pretty Little Liars. Thank you so much for all of your support, I love you guys.
Aww, we love you too, Tyler. The news gets better for "Haleb" fans though — according to reports, Blackburn isn't just returning to his regular, old role on PLL — the actor that plays Hanna's on-again-off-again boyfriend has been bumped up to a series regular. At least we know "A" doesn't have something against tall, dark, and handsome computer hackers with floppy hair. But Caleb's full-time return to Rosewood means that there are big decisions ahead for Ashley Benson's Hanna Marin.
Hanna's been spending her time — since her and Caleb amicably called it quits — dating and kissing Travis. And, unfortunately for Caleb, sweetheart Travis has really started to grow on us. So what's a girl to do when she's got two equally adorable and romantic men to choose from?
Caleb and Hanna left things in a good place, with the possibility of coming back to their relationship whenever Caleb was done "saving" Ravenswood. But now that he's back sooner than expected — it looks like there will be a new love triangle for Hanna and we all know that she ain't got time for that. She's so busy trying to figure out who "A" is, falling onto Detective Holden's lips, and modeling wedding dresses for charity, after all.
We all know that Caleb loves Hanna and that they're meant to be together — they probably have one of the most functional relationships on the show (which isn't saying much, considering recent events — cough, Ezra) but should they get back together right away? But if they don't, having to watch her be in a relationship with Travis might ruin their chances of reconciliation altogether. It might be safe to assume that she'll choose to get back together with Caleb — he's already way farther in on the "A" situation and they have a history together. But after Tuesday night's episode, it looks like Travis is willing to help her with anything she asks too.
We wouldn't want to be Hanna Marin right now — well, maybe we would. Because she's obviously going to choose Caleb.
