Getting NAKED just got even more fun and I don't mean NAKED in that way. Urban Decay is known for its palettes, especially the NAKED range, which is loaded to the gills with wearable, universal nudes and neutrals, and accent hues. The latest addition to the NAKED lineup is the Urban Decay NAKED Ultimate Basics Palette. This all-matte eyeshadow palette is special because it was crowd-sourced based on both emails and social media comments from the brand's diehard, disciple-like Beauty Junkies. According to Urban Decay reps, fans and makeup mavens have been consistently begging the brand to create more mattes in neutral shades, in addition to requesting more basics and more NAKED options. Where can you buy the NAKED Ultimate Basics Palette?
The 12-pan palette, featuring a dozen brand new eyeshadows, one of which is a demi-matte designed for highlighting purposes, will be available September 18. Shop it online via the Urban Decay site, Sephora.com, beauty.com, Macys.com, and Ulta.com. It will also be available at Sephora and Ulta locations, as well as select Macy's stores. The palette comes with a $55 price tag, making it a worthwhile investment.
Urban Decay reps confirmed to Bustle via email that the UD NAKED Ultimate Basics palette includes neutral mattes that were specifically created to to work with any and all skin tones. From light and cool skin tones to olive or darker complexions, this palette is insanely complimentary.
The palette boasts a mirror, along with a dual-ended brush. While all of the shadows contained within were designed to work in concert with one another, you have plenty of other options.
You can pair the NAKED Ultimate Basics shadows with other hues in your personal makeup stash or with some of the brighter, bolder colors in the Urban Decay repertoire.
The NAKED Ultimate Basics Palette is another "must own" addition to an already incredible lineup of limited edition and permanent palettes.
Here are the details that were revealed in the comments of the Instagram post announcing the palette. How perfectly fitting!
Since the brand mined its social media comments for information about what fans were clamoring for, it made sense to share the details of the newest palette in the same digital space.
According to the press materials, the colors in this palette are totally different from those that comprise the NAKED Basics and NAKED2 Basics palettes. This collection is a range of true neutral mattes.
Mark those calendars for September 18.
