Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has taken the world by storm, and now we have three new Harry Potter tie-in books to look forward to later this year. All of the titles are interactive, to some degree, so get ready for plenty of ~magical activities~, Potterheads.
Up first is J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World: Movie Magic Volume One: Extraordinary People and Fascinating Places by Jody Revenson, available Oct. 18. This book offers behind-the-scenes looks at all eight films in the main Harry Potter series, plus the forthcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them , complete with anecdotes from the cast. Publisher's copy notes that Movie Magic Volume One is "[f]illed with lift-the-flaps, stickers, and other engaging inserts," which younger fans — and, let's face it, all of us — will love.
Also out on Oct. 18 is Harry Potter: Winter at Hogwarts: An Interactive Coloring Set. This 48-page Harry Potter coloring book comes with a buildable paper model of Harry's Firebolt racing broom and 48 color-in gift tags for your holiday presents.
Finally, there's J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World: A Pop-Up Gallery of Curiosities by James Diaz and Sergio Gómez Silván. Out Nov. 1 and also designed for younger Potterheads, this book features pop-up displays related to Arthur Weasley's Ford Anglia and other magical items. Informational pull-outs offer insight into how the enchantments operate, as well as how SFX crews brought the magic to life on-screen.
