It's happening, but for how long? Kat Von D and Too Faced finally revealed details of their collab after months of teasing. Before they shared their heart-shaped palette, it was anyone's guess about exactly how the two brands would fuse their totally opposite aesthetics. The mashup is yielding the Better Together Collection, which includes a double-sided palette that is magnetically connected and can be split into halves. Each half includes brand new shades and comes with a full-sized Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and a KVD Tattoo Liner. The palette will cruise into Sephora on December 26, is vegan, and cruelty-free, since Kat Von D would not have it any other way. She is reformulating her line to be totally vegan. So, is the Kat Von D x Too Faced Better Together palette a limited edition? Or will it be a permanent addition?
According to Kat Von D's personal post about this palette, it's limited edition. That means you will want to scoop it it up as soon as it goes on sale (and when it restocks) later this year.
The heart-shaped paletted perfectly captures the good-girl-gone-bad, powder pink, and feminine Too Faced vibe as it collides with the dark, gothy, and alt aesthetic of Kat Von D Beauty.

The duo refers to Better Together as a "collection" and there are more elements to be revealed soon? Whatever the case, makeupistas, Kat Von D-evotees, and Too Facers are stoked about the heart-shaped palette. It really is the best of both brands. I can't wait to get mine.
