Well Now They're Just Messing With Us

Lupita Nyong'o and Jared Leto are both Academy Award winning actors, so if anyone would be able to trick the world into believing they aren't dating, it's these two. They've done a good job denying the rumors so far, but enough is enough and I'm starting to think they're just messing with us. Lupita Nyong'o and Jared Leto hung out in Paris and Nyong'o posted a photo collage of it to Instagram. That's right, a photo collage. Not just one photo — Nyong'o and Leto decided to go super cute photo booth-style with it. Come on, you guys! What's really going on here?

The rumors of Lupeto — as I've heard them referred to, but Jarita also works — began after the two were seen hanging out at awards season events and, reportedly, "spotted alone together at a table at the intimate Crosby Street Hotel." Following these reports, Nyong'o appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and perfectly responded to the rumors saying, "But I thought Miley Cyrus broke us up? That was the last thing I heard."

Leto had a joke of his own at the Independent Spirit Awards. During the acceptance speech for his Best Supporting Actor win, Leto thanked his "future ex-wife" saying, "I'm talking to you Lupita Nyong'o!"

The way they both have appropriately funny responses to tabloids on the ready is awesome, right? But does your opinion change after seeing this???

Sure, they could be friends that take really adorable pictures with Kanye West-referencing captions. Or! They could be fooling us all and be madly in love with each other! If it means we'll continue to get amazing rumor denials followed by photos they can totally use on their Save the Date cards someday, then I'm totally okay with Jarita continuing the charade.
