Shay Mitchell dyed her hair blonde, and it looks remarkably similar to her Pretty Little Liars bestie Ashley Benson. Why did she dye her hair the light hue, you ask? Well, she's trying to answer and age-old question that everyone from Kim Kardashian to Ariana Grande have asked themselves at least once.

According to her Instagram, the actress has taken a leap to the bright side and traded her dark brown hair for a 'do that's a bit more blonde. At first I thought maybe this was just a combination of a good filter and the lighting, but her caption says it all.

She attached the super long hashtag "finding out if blondes really do have more fun" to her post, which gives it all away. She's officially blonde, people! Her post shows much more than that too. Her and Benson are officially twins, and that's not an exaggeration. Just look at how similar the two blondes look standing side by side with Mitchell's new look.

I'm officially convinced that this woman could change her style in any way and still look great. She went from dark brown to blonde overnight and looks like a natural. Here's a refresher of what her hair looked like before the big change.
