On Sunday, the Kylie Cosmetics creator took to her Snapchat to share a limited-edition Birthday collection including a new matte lippie, and these swatches of Kylie's Leo lip kit will have you reaching for your credit card. While Jenner released tons of new products, it wouldn't be Jenner's birthday celebration collection without a new lip kit, would it? With a stunning maroon shade and the traditional matte finish, the Kylie Cosmetics Leo lip kit is sure to be one of the smash hits of Monday's Kylie Cosmetics birthday collection launch.
Like most of Jenner's lip kits, the latest shade, Leo, is suitable to just about any skin tone, and the hue is a great compliment to her other, already existing colors. When Jenner took to her Snapchat on Sunday to debut the whole collection, she didn't start out by giving fans swatches of Leo. Instead, she built up anticipation for what could be her most successful lip kit ever.
When Jenner did swatch the new Kylie Cosmetics Leo lip kit, though, fans were instantly excited for the new maroon hue. According to Jenner's Snapchat, she has been waiting for some time to release a maroon lip kit, and she finally found it.
The special birthday collection's lip kit is a gorgeous deep wine hue, and it's a perfect addition to the Kylie Cosmetics range of kits. Before showing fans swatches of the Leo lip kit, though, she showed off its stunning golden packaging.
Unlike Jenner's other lippies, Leo features gorgeous golden drips and a golden top. While the other lip kits have black lettering and drip, the gold detailing seems to be exclusive to the Kylie Cosmetics birthday collection.
After showcasing that stunning gold package, Jenner swatched Leo, and the result was a perfect maroon hue that I can't wait to see on her fans. The color is definitely a step away from existing colors — other than perhaps Kourt K —making it a unique pick for the birthday collection.
