Since the very beginning of the season, it became clear that Jordan was one of the main frontrunner's for JoJo's heart. But now that The Bachelorette Season 12 finale is upon us, it seems like Jordan and JoJo will face their biggest challenge yet as a couple, which could very well alter JoJo's final decision of who to say "yes" to when both guys get down on one knee. According to the promo, JoJo is having a hard time trusting Jordan and starting to have serious doubts as to whether or not he's the right man for her. Why? Though the clip still manages to keep any specifics under wraps, the best guess would be that it has something to do with when Jordan meets JoJo's family.
A source close to the show recently told Us Weekly that one of the remaining suitors neglected to ask JoJo's parents' permission before proposing to their daughter, which JoJo found to be highly "disrespectful" and forced her to rethink a few things. Inevitably, it led to this person being made as the runner-up. Granted, this Us Weekly source is anonymous, so this rumor should be taken with a grain of salt. However, when you add that in with the tension we see between JoJo and Jordan in the finale teasers, it could be possible that this is the main cause.
The promo even shows a moment between JoJo and Jordan where she says she's disappointed in him and I can't help but think she might be referring to the conversation he had with her parents. "It makes me doubt if you're really ready," she reveals. And that right there, could lead to the beginning of the end of this Bachelorette pair.
Now, I'll admit that she could be referring to a number of different things in that moment. Maybe they were discussing how long they'd want their engagement to be and he indicated that he's rather wait a while before tying the knot. Or maybe he was feeling insecure about their relationship since there's still another guy in the picture and it creates friction between them. The point is, we won't know what the heck is going on until we see it firsthand. But if this does have something to do with Jordan not asking her parents' permission before proposing, then this could prove to be a major clue about how JoJo's love story will play out.
But even without the promo, it's easy to see how Jordan could be the one who doesn't stick with tradition. Whether you're a fan of his or not, Jordan likes to do things his own way, so he may not feel that he needs her parents' permission in order to pop the question. And for JoJo, that could end up being a game changer. She's favored Jordan so much throughout the season, but this may be the final straw and give Robby the advantage he needs to fully win over her heart once and for all. We'll find out for sure soon enough...
