Ashley Olsen Looks A Little Different

Yet another Hollywood starlet has gone super blonde. Ashley Olsen dyed her hair platinum blonde, following the example of Karlie Kloss, Emma Roberts, and Kristen Stewart, who have all been rocking the bleached look lately. When it comes to hair, platinum is totally the new black.

The 30-year-old was spotted at the flagship store opening of Elizabeth and James in Los Angeles, according to PopSugar, and her hair was noticeable lighter than what it used to be. She flaunted an icy, almost white-blonde hue that totally made her stand out in the crowd, not to mention differentiate her from her twin sister, as Refinery 29 points out, who donned a darker more honey-colored shade of blonde. Ashley still rocked her long beachy waves, but the bright new color brings gives her a very different vibe, and it totally suits her.

For as long as we have know Ashley & Mary-Kate Olsen, they have always been a package deal, be it through their endless #twinning in 90s movies or in their joint fashion line, Elizabeth and James. I am sure, then, that the two have struggled to forge their own individual identities, and sporting different hair colors definitely helps to do so, at least in the view of the public eye.
