Have you heard the good news? Another edition of the RiRi Creepers is coming! The last drop of Rihanna's Puma Creepers, which sold out in a half-hour, took place in late May. There weren't any official Creeper restocks, either. Therefore, Creeper mania died down a little, especially since it's open-toe shoe season. That said, hype is about to pick back up again because Rihanna is dropping new Puma Creepers in camo print.
Yes! Finally! A new and eye-catching Creeper style is on the horizon. The burnt orange Camo Fenty Creepers arrive on Thursday, July 28. The cooler-than-you kicks are perfect for the upcoming autumn season. The shoes will available at Puma.com, Puma stores, and select retailers globally, according to the Puma PR team.
The press release that Bustle received regarding The Creeper Camo described the sneaker as a rich suede leather upper, with waxed laces, a metallic gold branding, and orange camouflage print fabrication on a gum sole. So, yeah, it's pretty rad.
You know when to shop the shoes. But how much are the Rihanna Camo Creepers? What kind of dent will they make in your wallet? The press release confirmed that the shoes are 140 Euros. A quick currency conversion via Google yields a $154 price tag in USD.
UPDATE: Puma PR confirmed in an email to Bustle that the Camo Creepers will actually be $140 in the U.S.
These Creepers are so fall-ready. They look like a pile of leaves on an October day. These kicks would totally add a pop of color to any monochromatic ensemble, too. You can wear a really basic ensemble and these sneaks would offer an instant fashion upgrade.
Here is the screenshot from the Puma site, confirming the shoe's on-sale time and date.
Stacked with attitude, indeed. And style!
The Creeper silhouette, with the thick, platform sole, is the epitome of street and chic. I nabbed the all-black pair and I love them.
Obviously, Rihanna hit on something with the Creeper silhouette. She is having fun, as evidenced by this new colorway. She is such a fashion risk taker and there is nothing she won't try.
Welcome to the Creeper family, camo version!
