Just when you thought wedding bells were on the horizon, Lindsay Lohan's relationship with Egor Tarabasov may be in trouble. Over the weekend, the 30-year-old reportedly posted a series of Instagrams that call into question her boyfriend's fidelity. Some posts have since been deleted, but many outlets have taken screenshots, and there's also one photo remaining in which Lohan has scribbled out Tarabasov's face. To make matters even more confusing, Lohan also tweeted about a potential pregnancy, writing, "lindsay lohan labour pains trailer - I am pregnant!!" Honestly, this is a lot to process — is Lohan pregnant for real?! Bustle has reached out to the star's rep for comment, but hasn't heard back at this time. Update: Lohan released a statement via Instagram that reads in part, "I would appreciate if these speculations regarding my personal life would respectfully come to a halt. Unfortunately, a private matter has become more public than I can control and I would be extremely grateful if my fiancé and myself could discuss our personal matters on our own." (Find the full statement and image below.)
Earlier: Here's what went down, according to E! News. On Friday, Lohan allegedly posted a Snapchat where she refers to Tarabasov as her fiancé for the first time publicly. In the video, she reportedly said,
"My fiancé's being really angry at me, but I'm drinking water to get him to come home. Honey, come home, please."
After that, she reportedly posted a since-deleted Instagram, where she allegedly wrote, "I guess I was the same at 23… Sh*tty time-it changes at 26/27 @e2505t thanks for not coming home tonight. Fame changes people," seemingly referencing the couple's age gap. (Lohan's Twitter appears to be auto-synced to her Instagram, so the tweet to that post still exists, but goes to a broken link.) And in case that's not enough, she also allegedly wrote, "Wow thanks #fiance with Russian hooker" beneath a photo of Tarabasov and fashion designer Dasha Pashevkina. (Here's the tweet of that Instagram post, which also leads to a broken link.) Then, Lohan posted the below image, still available, with Tarabasov's face scribbled out:
It was after that flutter of posts that Lohan posted the pregnancy-related tweet. However, the format of the post below looks like she may have been hacked, or simply trying to copy a link to a photo from Google Images of her ABC Family movie Labor Pains.
If Lohan really is pregnant, that's certainly an unexpected way to make an announcement. But I'd have to guess that's not the way she'd break the big news, so something must be up. This whole situation seems odd, as recently, Lohan seemingly has been doing really well for herself, writing a book and possibly soon releasing new music. For those reasons, this stream of deleted Instagrams and tweets feels out of place and confusing.
If Tarabasov did cheat on a pregnant Lohan, as her tweets possibly suggest, that would be devastating and could explain such an outpouring of emotions online. Or perhaps the whole situation is just a misunderstanding and social media snafu. Hopefully, Lohan posts more answers soon.
