Uh-oh. Just when you thought the Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift drama may be fading out, this weekend proved the opposite. Nope, I'm not talking about Kardashian lip-syncing to "Famous" (which did happen BTW). I'm talking about this: Kardashian partied with Calvin Harris on Saturday night. Yes, the same Harris who recently experienced some post-breakup drama with Swift.
Is it just me or does it feel like everyone's teaming up against Swift? Granted, it's not like these celebs officially formed an Anti-Taylor Squad. Kardashian and Harris were actually celebrating Jennifer Lopez's birthday. If J.Lo invites you to a party, I'd imagine you can't say no; it's too good of an invite to turn down. Still, posing for photos together probably isn't the best — or most mature — idea.
After their breakup, Harris seemingly got pretty petty on social media. He allegedly told a fan he was "not jealous" but "FREE" after Swift began dating Tom Hiddleston. He also very publicly called Swift out on Twitter and said she can't "try and bury" him, like she's done with other celebs. (Cough, cough, Katy Perry.) Meanwhile, I probably don't even have to recap the Kardashian-Swift-Kanye West drama for you, since it's been covered ad nauseam. (Just in case, here's a Kimye and Swift timeline for those of you who were disconnected from the Internet last week and missed it.) Given those two situations, there's no way the timing of the photo below was a coincidence.
Of course, Harris is a grown adult and allowed to hang out with whoever he wants. But his facial expression suggests he knows exactly what he's doing by posing with the person who's practically his ex-girlfriend's enemy. Lopez's face in the photo best sums up everybody's reaction when seeing this pic. Her eyes say, "Can you believe this?!?!" Honestly, I'm too shocked by the Harris-Kardashian friendship to even question why French Montana is there. Considering he's Khloé Kardashian's ex, it may have been semi-awkward for Kim. But again, there are bigger issues to address here.
In case that's not enough potential drama, Harris Snapchatted himself singing a Kanye West song recently, according to E! News. Sure, he didn't lip-sync along to "Famous," but it's not much better to be publicly siding with Kimye repeatedly. Again, he's allowed to do what he wants, but there's no denying that it comes across as a bit petty. That's been a recurring theme in Harris' post-breakup behavior overall, so this really isn't helping his case.
Honestly, I wish these celebs could just go back to getting along. Sure, it's more boring that way. But at this point, this is too much drama to handle. When will it end?
