Here is some exciting news for fans of The Bachelor: Chris Soules' ex, Whitney Bischoff, is engaged, according to her announcement via Instagram Friday. Alongside an image with her new fiancé Ricky Angel, Bischoff wrote, "Whitney Angel has a nice ring to it, yall!" First, her ring is flawless. Second, can we talk about her soon-to-be last name? It's almost too on the nose and I know those who watched her season of The Bachelor will most likely agree.
During Season 19 of the hit ABC dating competition, Bischoff was known for being really sweet and maybe sometimes way too nice. You could even say she was an angel through her journey of winning Soules' heart. To hear that she will soon become an actual Angel (don't get morbid, you know what I mean) is interesting, to say the least. What are the odds she would fall in love with someone with the last name Angel? It's almost too perfect.
After scoring the final rose from Soules, the two broke off their engagement in May 2015. Clearly, their split didn't tarnish Bischoff's dreams of finding someone to spend her life with. Bischoff opened up about her dating life with Us Weekly in October 2015, "Yeah, I’m just casually dating. I don’t know that I have a specific person that I'm looking for." She added, "I think that in general it’s someone who makes me a better person, makes me happy, makes me laugh, and shares a common interest, so I don’t know if there’s a big stereotype with that."
Based on her Instagram, they look really happy together and can't stop smiling in their photos. They're pretty angelic (get it?) together. I think it's safe to say she found what she was looking for.
