We're smack dab in the middle of summer. Naturally, it's time to start thinking about fall. When the temps drop and it cools down, it's easier to experiment with more cosmetics, colors, and products. Why? Well, you're no longer stressed about the heat and humidity melting your makeup. That's why I am stoked about Makeup Geek's new neutral eyeshadows. The nude and neutral colors are absolutely perfect for the fall season. The brand swatched nine new shades on light and dark skin tones, showing the depth, dimension, texture, and universality. Judging from the Instagram post, the mattes and shimmers will help build a rich, intense smoky eye. When are the new Makeup Geek neutral eyeshadows coming out?
The post only reveals that the neutrals are "coming soon." So that could be any time, really. Bustle reached out to Makeup Geek's PR team to inquire about the exact release date and further details about these amazing eyeshadows. We'll let you know if and when we hear back.
The swatches of Makeup Geek neutral eyeshadows will give you life! All of the colors look like they were meant to be paired. As the post states, "You can never have too many neutrals." #Preach. These shades can be used to temper brighter colors from other brands or they will work in concert for a high impact smoky eye.

Check out that orange shade, which is the sixth from the left. What a "wow" shade. You can totally create a sunset smoky eye, which usually features golds, oranges, and bronzy hues, with most of these shades. The black or dark brown smoky eye is not the only way to go. These swatches are the proof.
MUG really nows its way around a neutral! The brand's Manny MUA eyeshadow palette, which returned for another lap, hosts similar shades.
Will there be more than nine new shades? Here's to hoping.
