Inside The Most Star-Studded Show At Paris Fashion Week

Lupita Nyong'o, Rihanna, and Elle Fanning were all in attendance.

Just when you thought all the Paris Fashion Week fuss was over and all of the most high-profile celebrities had made their appearances not just in France, but at Fall 2014 Fashion Month in general, something happened. And that something was Wednesday's Miu Miu show.

Though we've seen some pretty celeb-packed front rows throughout the past month (think Rebecca Minkoff at New York Fashion Week and H&M in Paris), Miu Miu attracted what has to be one of — if not the — most starlet-studded first rows of the entire Fall ’14 fashion season. Don't believe us? Then how about this for proof: The Prada-owned design label played host to celebrities like Lupita Nyong’o, Rihanna, Margot Robbie, Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, Lea Seydoux, Adele Exarchopoulos, Bella Heathcote, and yes, even the gorgeous Jared Leto. And trust us when we say, they all looked really great lining that front row.

Though it’s always thrilling to see what Rihanna turns up in at Paris Fashion Week — this time, showed up to see the Miu Miu collection wearing a mod brown dress, thigh-high tights, a thin purple scarf, and a massive fur-trimmed coat — the real star of the show was Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o. The Hollywood darling was practically glowing in her pink ruched skirt, buttoned-up burgundy blazer, matching burgundy tights, jeweled-collar button down, and crisp cream overcoat.

Though we were pleasantly surprised to see Nyong’o at the show, it wasn't a complete shock or stretch of the imagination. She's been a Miu Miu girl for a while now, starring alongside show-goers Fanning, Olsen, and Heathcoate in the brand’s Spring 2014 ad campaign, and in case you’ve already forgotten, she sported both a princess-perfect Prada gown and a beaded Miu Miu dress on Oscars Sunday.

Her Miu Miu co-stars supported the brand in style, too, with Fanning choosing a retro, sporty look in her blue and yellow patterned dress, which she paired with watercolor-print heels, minimal jewelry and makeup, and pinned-back locks. Heathcote — who was made famous in the U.S. for her role in Johnny Depp’s Dark Shadows — went a darker route, pairing a black skirt, coat, and pumps with a sheer plum top.

Olsen, on the other hand, was pretty in pink in a high-neck frock, which she finished off with a navy leather clutch, a studded white overcoat, and perfectly tousled bed-head hair.

Robbie looked sexier and more confident than ever with her new dark locks, classing it up on the front row in a simple gray dress, gorgeous red coat, and floral-printed heels.

Seydoux and Exarchopoulos, who star together in the French film Blue is the Warmest Color, looked like quite the pretty pair, with Seydoux rocking a playfully printed pink top, blue-and-pink blazer, and matching leather skirt. Exarchopoulos chose a similar skirt-and-coat combo, but opted for a color palette of black, white, and navy, which she topped off with red satin pumps.

Surprise guest Jared Leto was also a sight to behold, wearing a casual two-piece suit, long blue scarf, and amazing color-blocked loafers — a look he finished off with a leather cuff, aviator sunglasses, and that flawless hair that we just can’t get enough of.

Despite appearances by Jessica Alba, Solange Knowles, Kate Moss, and, of course, Rihanna, we were ready to call Paris Fashion Week a lost celebrity cause, thanks to the noticeable lack of the star power it’s become known for in years past. Fortunately, Miu Miu swept in to save the day at literally the last second, single-handedly putting an end to the phrase, “Too little, too late.”
