Hey SJP: Cool the 'Sex and The City 3' Talk
Hey: Sarah Jessica Parker, star of very popular and groundbreaking (yes, yes it was) HBO series, Sex and The City — it's time to shut up about the yet-another potential cinematic bastardization sequel of the thing we all know and, once upon a time, loved. Your recent interview on The Ellen Show proves this. Because you just can't seem to stop talking about the potential of it even though there's literally no grounds for a sequel at all and we're exhausted by the prospect already. Really.
Even though she's mentioned it more than once, the real-life Carrie Bradshaw finally spoke a little bit of truth on the potential 3rd sequel: "...the truth of the matter is there has been no real conversation about a third movie — at all." SJP has been, in her words, making up creative answers to this line of questioning every time she's asked (maybe people should stop asking then). Which! You know, can be amusing. But not when the thing being discussed feels more like a threat than a present. She went on to clarify that she knows "there's a story" there — which could literally mean anything. It could be a real thing or something she's made up as a figment of her imagination, or desire to bundle up in fancy, out-of-control stupid fancy clothes again — but "whether or not that story is ever told remains truly one of the great mysteries of all time." Which: would we call it a great mystery?
