The Kardashians Don't Live In That House

Whoa, whoa, whoa. The Kardashian-Jenners don't really live in their house?! I mean, they live in their house, wherever that is, but they don't live in the house that's on the show? What is this? Have we all been living a lie? The viewers, the Kardashians, and Bruce Jenner, all of us together participating in this horrible farce. According to TMZ, that is exactly what has been happening. The exterior shots on Keeping Up with the Kardashians are of a fake house and it's currently for sale. They could get kicked out of their not-house! Oh no!

TMZ reports that the Jenner home (where I believe Kris, Kylie, Kendall, Kim, Kanye, and Knorth currently live, on the show at least) is the house actually used for any filming done inside, but that the establishing shot is of a completely different home which is now up for sale. This means, that the new owners of the mansion could decide they don't want the house used on the show anymore and the show would need to find a new fake house.

Reportedly, the family did not want to use the exterior of their real home because of security reasons which makes sense because they are constantly followed by paparazzi. They need a break to be followed solely by their own cameras sometimes.

The fake house situation has been out in the open for a while, but just isn't necessarily known by fans. The house was on the market before and in 2012 real estate website, Curbed, reported that it was listed for $6.495 million. The house is now listed for $6.25. Guess no one wants the "Kardashian" house. Probably because the real estate agent suspiciously puts "Kardashians" in air quotes whenever she describes it.
