Looks Like Katy Perry Responded To Calvin Harris

by Allyson Koerner

Well, it looks like someone else is getting in on the action of Calvin Harris' Twitter rant about Taylor Swift he dished out on Wednesday. Katy Perry seemingly responded to Harris' tweet, where he mentioned (and possibly confirmed) the feud between herself and his ex-girlfriend. After Swift confirmed she wrote his song with Rihanna,"This Is What You Came For," as confirmed by her rep to Bustle, the DJ tweeted, "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it." Bustle has reached out to Swift's rep for comment on Harris' tweet, but has not yet heard back. Well, on Wednesday, Perry tweeted a gif of Hillary Clinton that may or may not be in response to his tweet.

As you can see below, the gif depicts a range of facial expressions from Clinton that, given the timing, very well could be expressing how Perry feels in regards to Harris and the long rumored feud between she and Swift. The gif goes from shock to an "I told you so" look to a shoulder shrug. Since the supposed feud began in September 2014 after Swift spoke to Rolling Stone magazine, with Perry fueling the rumors thanks to a cryptic tweet mentioning Regina George posted after the interview, I can only imagine how she must feel after all this time.

In addition to the gif shared Wednesday, Perry also retweeted a tweet of hers from May 2015 that reads, "Time, the ultimate truth teller." Whoa. It sure sounds like the "Roar" singer is feeling vindicated after all of the reports and speculation. I mean, this is her way of saying, "I told you so," right?

If you need more proof that her retweet is in fact related to Swift, take note that she tweeted it in May 2015, the same month the 1989 artist released her "Bad Blood" music video. Granted, Perry tweeted on May 9 and the video debuted May 17 at the Billboard Music Awards, but Swift teased the video so much, Perry's tweet could've easily been in response to it. Don't forget, Swift also told Rolling Stone that the song was about a fellow female artist that she doesn't get along with.

So, believe what you want, but things are lining up way too easily for there not to be some type of connection here between Perry's comments, her feud with Swift, and Harris' tweets.

With that, anyone else waiting for a Perry and Harris collaboration sometime soon?
