Leslie Jones Wears A Stunning Red Gown To Premiere

If there's one star-studded premiere you wished to be at this summer, it was probably the premiere of the new Ghostbusters movie featuring the most kick-ass female cast we've seen in a while with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate MacKinnon.

Of course when it comes to a red carpet event, gorgeous designer gowns are a must, but when Leslie Jones was trying to find a designer for her gown, she ran into a few issues. Jones could not find a designer who wanted to dress her for the Ghostbusters premiere.

Jones tweeted her frustration about the dress controversy back in June saying, "It’s so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything."

Almost immediately after Jones' tweet, designer and Project Runway alum Chrisitan Siriano stepped up to pair with Jones, and the final product couldn't be better.

Jones stunned among her cast in an off-the-shoulder ruby red gown that is so simple yet so elegant. Without question, Jones was the belle of the ball and clearly didn't let the controversy phase her.
