How Much Caffeine Is In The Iced Berry Sangria

by Jessica Learish

You know those crazy summer afternoons — the ones when it's so hot that you can almost feel your hair melting, your makeup has long since evaporated, and you daydream about a refreshing blended beverage. Starbucks just released a new seasonal drink that's a perfect fit for keeping you cool on such a day. How much caffeine is in the new Teavana Shaken Iced Berry Sangria Herbal Tea? You don't want to lose out on any sleep, especially not in this weather.

Great news — the Iced Berry Sangria Tea actually doesn't have any caffeine whatsoever. (It also doesn't have any wine in it either, so you can easily order one at the end of your lunch break with zero worries about insomnia or catching a case of the giggles at the office.) What the Iced Berry Sangria does have is a tropical blast of hibiscus and lemongrass from its Teavana Passion Tango Tea base, and a fruity twist from a special sangria syrup that contains flavors like peach, elderberry, blood orange, and raspberry. The tea and syrup are shaken up with ice and fresh fruit to take your imagination from muggy summer day to a remote oceanside cabana with a view that looks like this.

So next time you're looking for something cold and refreshing to sip on during the weekday, hit up your local Starbucks and get your hands on a Teavana Shaken Iced Berry Sangria Herbal Tea. It hits stores in the United States and Canada starting July 12, and is available throughout the summer, while supplies last.
