Tonight is the Bachelor' s special episode "The Women Tell All." Usually this is a chance for the reunited cast to get super catty with each other, but the promo for tonight shows it might be like "we've never seen before" (Chris Harrison's words). But why? I think it's because this season it's not about contestants tearing the others apart for a chance with Juan Pablo. A lot of these women don't give a damn about Juan Pablo and that's going to make tonight interesting because they're not going to be afraid to make him answer to a lot of his shortcomings. "It's not a game, this is a relationship," Free Spirit Lucy tells JP in the promo. "He's not who we thought he was," says another contestant.
Watching the girls team up to let Juan Pablo have it is always entertaining, but that's not the only reason this contestant pool is way cooler than most. Here are 6 reasons this cast has made this season bearable.
1. THEY'RE ALL HANGING OUT TOGETHER
Instead of all fighting over Juan Pablo, this season's girls are on #TeamOneAnother. They care so little about the show that some aren't even watching it. Sharleen, Kelly, and Andi spent last week's episode getting drinks and mocking Juan Pablo together.
2. THEY WERE FRIENDLY ON THE SHOW
These girls didn't forge bonds only after filming ceased, many of them were great pals on the show, or at least always there to offer some friendly advice.
3. THEY'RE MOVING ON WITH THEIR LIVES
No moaning and groaning about being sent home––girls like Renee, who is recently engaged, have recovered quickly and moved on to better men.
4. THEY'RE ALREADY IN THE BACHELOR FAMILY
Usually just the winner or a select few runners-up make it into the Bachelor Family circle, and not until at least after their show has finished airing. But this year's girls have been inducted in early, probably owing to the fact that not even the Bachelor Family likes Juan Pablo. So the more people to mock him with, the merrier. Former Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock sent Renee a sweet congratulatory tweet about her engagement and welcomed Renee to Seattle where Hartsock already lives, further proving that these girls are in with the show's elite.
5. THEY'RE NOT AFRAID TO SAY THINGS EVEN WHILE THE SHOW IS STILL RUNNING
In years past, contestants stayed mum on tricky topics while the show was still airing, but either ABC's producers are less stringent this year about controlling social media or these girls just don't care. Whatever the case, it's nice for viewers to get to see what they really think, especially when Juan Pablo made his homophobic statements. It took them from reality show stars to people on our side.
6. THEY'RE WALKING OUT ON JUAN PABLO
A contestant leaving late in the Bachelor game is rare but it's happened twice now to JP and that shows us that these girls aren't about to waste their time. Once realizing that JP wasn't for them they said adios.
So with these awesome girls getting back together for the Women Tell All episode tonight, we're sure it'll be very entertaining. Watch the promo here:
