There's an indie makeup brand and Instagram makeup artist collabo you need to know about. Like right now. You ready? Of course you are. Sola Look and Depechegurl have teamed up to create a matte liquid lipstick and it's to die for. The shade is a neutral mauve that totally reminds me of the Posie K Kylie Lip Kit. The shade is called "Depechegurl," it's vegan, it costs $17, is long-wear, and boasts a yumtastic vanilla cupcake fragrance. So it sounds like it's pretty much perfection in a tube. When can you buy the Depechegurl Sola Look liquid lippie and where?
The Depechegurl Sola Look matte liquid lipstick lands via the Sola Look website, which is its sales platform, on Friday, July 15. Go ahead and make a note in your calendar. I'll wait.
ICYMI: Depechegurl created her own Matte Lip Veils for her soon-to-be-launched Cryptic Cosmetics line. So expect to hear a lot more from this online makeup star, who has over 800,000 Instagram followers and a super edgy, goth x rock look, in the coming months. If you were curious how this fab collab came to be, the brand revealed the origins in the product description, writing: "We first met Depechegurl in 2014. At the time we were looking for someone to do our lipstick lip swatches for our online store. When we saw her work on her Instagram page, we were hooked. E-mails led to texts which led to phone conversations which led to friendship. We are a true admirer of her creativity and couldn't think of anyone else we would want to work with for our first liquid matte lipstick."
