LC's Platinum Hair Is Perfect For Summer

She has become quite the hair chameleon lately, and now she's flaunting another new hairstyle. Lauren Conrad dyed her hair platinum blonde, following the example of Ashley Tisdale, Emma Roberts, and Rooney Mara. Clearly, the bleached look is so in right now, because all the major celebrities are lightening up their locks for summer.

The 30-year-old paid a visit to her long-time hairstylist, Kristin Ess, for a fresh new 'do, and just in time for the Fourth of July festivities. Ess took to Instagram to debut LC's gorgeous new tresses, revealing a super light, platinum blonde hue mixed in with layers and angles of varying lengths. Conrad's new shade is so blonde it almost looks white, or perhaps icy blonde is the more appropriate term, which is super on-trend right now.

Conrad has been much more of a risk taker with her hair as of late. After having long, dirty blonde hair for what seemed like forever, she made a bold move and dyed her hair a fiery red hue. She also experimented with lengths, opting for the ever-popular lob style for a while. This new bleached blonde style, though, is definitely my favorite look on her.

Totally makes me want to go platinum with my own hair.
