Well, it sure doesn't seem like this DJ can catch a break. On Monday, Calvin Harris backed his car into a wall and he's blaming the paparazzi. "I got mad as hell at a paparazzi today, I'm sorry, you did make me back into a wall but I know you're just doing your job and I apologise [sic]," he posted on Twitter. So, even though Harris claims the photogs played a part in his minor accident, he sure doesn't seem too upset over it, because, yeah, he apologized to them.
I know, it sounds strange, but I guess Harris isn't trying to sweat the small stuff and is attempting to put the moment behind him. Also, maybe he looked at the situation from all angles and decided to cut the paps some slack. Plus, no one was seriously hurt, which is a positive thing.
According to People, Harris banged his SUV's door "as he struggled to escape from photographers peppering him with questions about his love life." For those who need a refresher, the 32-year-old musician and Taylor Swift recently split. (FYI, she is now dating Tom Hiddleston.)
People reports the events between Harris and the paparazzi happened in a parking lot outside of a Beverly Hills gym. Apparently, a photog yelled, "Who are you dating now?" and Harris was said to look agitated and quickly got into his car. Per People, as he was backing up, he didn't realize his rear door was still open and slammed it into a wall.
Thank goodness it wasn't as bad as the car accident Harris got into in May, which just might be another reason Harris isn't freaking out over backing his car into a wall. Things could have been much worse. While traveling to the airport in Los Angeles, Harris' transport was in an accident resulting in the DJ canceling several shows. He wasn't seriously injured, but according to a statement released by his team, a doctor examined him and he was told to take a few days off for rest.
After his May accident, Harris took to Twitter to thank his fans and apologize for canceling shows. "Thank you so much for your messages and sorry to any disappointment I caused with the show cancellations," he wrote. "I'm feeling lucky and very grateful rn."
I bet he's feeling grateful right now, as well.
