How You Can Watch 'Mean Girls' With Lindsay Lohan

by Jamie Primeau

Grab the nearest pink t-shirt and throw it on ASAP. If you've always wanted to join the Plastics, now's your chance. According to an announcement she shared on Instagram, Lindsay Lohan is watching Mean Girls with fans at 8:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, June 22. You can live-stream the movie and she'll be answering questions via Synaptop, along with co-star Daniel Franzese (aka Damien). How fetch is that? Sure, the movie came out in 2004, but it's as relevant as ever. Your dreams of watching the movie with Cady Heron herself are about to come true.

Personally, I love the fact that Lohan is engaging with her fans. According to the Synaptop description, "fans can chat face-to-face" with the stars, as well as "engage in live text chat." So basically, it's like live-tweeting a movie, but through a different platform. Pretty grool, huh? You just have to register for an account and RSVP on the site. That sounds so simple that even Karen Smith (the member of the Plastics, who once asked how to spell "orange") could understand.

It appears that it costs 99 cents to participate in the Synaptop screening, but to get to hang with LiLo is totally worth it, if you ask me. Considering I once paid at least $10 to see it in theaters, that's a major bargain.

This isn't the first time that Lohan loved her movies as much as the rest of us. Here's a round-up of the times she was practically her own number-one fan.

1. Visiting The Parent Trap House

The. Nostalgia. Is. Real.

2. Reliving The Best Scenes

She wished the Queen of England a happy birthday by using a scene from The Parent Trap.

3. More Parent Trap Throwbacks

Looks like she loves Halle Parker and Annie James as much as the rest of us.

4. Quoting Her Own Movie

Quite interesting to see a grown-adult Lohan mouthing a her younger self's lines from Parent Trap.

5. Celebrating Mean Girls Day

She definitely knows the importance of October 3. By now, its an official holiday.

6. Remembering DCOMs

The Disney Channel Original Movie Get A Clue is undeniably a classic. Even Lohan knows that.

7. Posting Mean Girls Memes

One of the best lines in the entire movie.

If this is making you super nostalgic, you'll definitely want to tune in and watch Mean Girls with LiLo. Or in the very least, follow her on Instagram, so you can regularly take a trip down memory lane.
