The unfortunate truth about being the Bachelorette? People talk, and they don't always say nice things... and that led to a pretty sticky situation on Monday night's new episode. During some downtime the guys had while Jordan was on his one-on-one with JoJo, they ended up discovering a magazine that featured an article that did not reflect well on JoJo. It featured an interview with JoJo's ex, Chad Rookstool — aka the guy who left her flowers during her hometown date with Ben Higgins on The Bachelor — and what it said was pretty upsetting to the contestants. The article (which is still available on the InTouch website) is all about what Chad has to say about her now that their relationship has ended. He says a lot of things about her that, if they were true, would be pretty incriminating, like how she tried to sneak around with him post-Bachelor. Obviously, after reading things like that, the guys were upset. I mean, can you blame them? They're trying to see if they can fall in love with this girl, so what if she's not all the way in? But, it's unfair to JoJo, too.

Fortunately, JoJo did end up getting the opportunity to straighten things out with the guys and tell them she and Chad were just friends after her season, and it seems like they believed her. Can you imagine how stressful it must be to be the Bachelorette, and then have something like this to deal with on top of it? But she totally handled it like a pro — way better than many of us could have in her situation.

Fingers crossed no more media gets in the way of her finding love. This girl deserves it!
