Jordan's 'Pitch Perfect 2' Cameo Is Everything

by Kelly Schremph

By now you're probably aware of the fact that Bachelorette contestant Jordan Rodgers has a famous brother, otherwise known as the NFL Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. However, what you may not know is that Jordan's time in the limelight extends far beyond both his brother and current Bachelorette fame. Prior to his quest for love, Jordan Rodgers made a cameo appearance in Pitch Perfect 2 , alongside numerous real-life Packers players such as Clay Matthews, David Bakhtiari, Don Barclay, Josh Sitton, and T.J. Lang. Sure, he pretty much keeps to the background the entire time and doesn't really have any actual lines (except for the lyrics to Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious," that is). But there's no denying that's him in the scene, which proves he was pretty much destined for entertainment greatness long before he even knew who JoJo Fletcher was.

Sure, the clip here can't entirely capture the captivating appeal he's had on Bachelorette viewers since basically Day 1 and his hair doesn't have that floppy quality just yet, but you can definitely sense a charismatic-like quality that he's continued to carry with him onto the small screen. But hey, don't just take my word for it. If you have yet to see Jordan's singing silver screen debut, check out the clip below. Trust me when I say that you won't be sorry.

Suffice to say, the whole scene in general is pretty great, but now knowing who Jordan is makes the entire thing all the more, well, acca-awesome. And considering that these guys did all of the dancing and singing themselves (they even went to a recording studio to lay down the vocals), I think it's safe to say that Jordan could have a very impressive talent outside of football. His sports history may be the main focus the show is going with for him right now, but if you ask me they should at least mention Jordan's unforgettable cameo. In fact, that knowledge could make him seem even more appealing to JoJo. After all, who doesn't like a guy who can sing and dance?

So even if you're not a fan of Jordan the football player, you should at least familiarize yourself with Jordan the a cappella singer. If nothing else, it shows that he's up for a good time and more than capable of laughing at himself. And hey, who knows — maybe he'll even make an appearance in Pitch Perfect 3!
